Yorie Tsumura is the mother of the late Mukuo Tsumura.
Appearance[]
Since her childhood, Yorie has always had shoulder-length brown hair with bangs that cover the left and right side of her forehead. She started wearing eyeglasses on her middle high school times.
Personality[]
Yorie is a clumsy and careless person like her son. However, she is friendly and hospitable to everyone. During her middle high school times, she was very shy and couldn't convey her feelings correctly to several people, such as Reiko Natsume.
History[]
At some point in Yorie's childhood, her grandfather showed her a shrine-functioned dead tree at the nearby forest, introducing her to God Nanten that was believed to inhabit the dead tree. Her grandfather told Yorie to pray frequently in front of the tree. As noted by Honokage, who inhabited the dead tree on that time, Yorie still prays in front of the tree even after becoming an adult, despite only hearing about it once from her grandfather. Yorie is also unaware that God Nanten had moved to another place.
Yorie once met Reiko Natsume when she was still in middle high school. She used to watch Reiko from afar with her friends on their way home while filled with curiousity and admiration. Nevertheless, they were too scared to talk to her. One day, during a 'wall tag game' with Monmonbou, Reiko almost accidentally bumped into Yorie. As a result, Yorie's bell-shaped bag decoration hit thick bushes and fell off. Reiko picked the decoration up and gave it back to Yorie, but the shy girl ran away because she was too nervous, leaving Reiko alone to misunderstand Yorie's view towards her.
As Yorie became an adult, she married with a certain man and gave birth to Mukuo. However, Yorie's son died 8 years prior to her meeting with Takashi due to an accident, while her husband disappeared due to untold circumstances. With a heart enveloped by deep sadness, Yorie came to the dead tree and prayed. Honokage empathized with Yorie, thus he left the dead tree and followed her. Moments later, a masked ayakashi suddenly appeared, forcing Honokage to get out of the shadow in order to protect Yorie. With the curse working on the surrounding place, Yorie saw Honokage as his late son, Mukuo.
